We often receive requests from clients to advise on what they would recommend from a school or club football tour for the under 18 bracket. So we thought we would create a case study from a recent school football tour from October 2025.
What we have tried to create, was a balanced tour which gave the school the opportunity to experience professional training, some pitch time for themselves to prepare for two fixtures against local opposition alongside time away from the sport to enjoy the city and the beach with two great activities.
After gathering some initial understanding of what the school were looking to achieve in respect of the sporting element of the visit and accommodation and food requirements we put together a proposal and quote for the following –
Five Night Pro Football Tour
- Accommodation: 4* half board
- Additional Meals: Full board supplement (one meal per day outside the hotel)
- Transport: Air-conditioned coach travel for all elements of the tour
Football
- Pro Training: 2 x 1.5 hour sessions with academy coaches from La Liga side Levante UD at the clubs training ground
- Self Led Training: 1 x 1.5 hour session, all balls, cones etc included
- Matches: 2 x matches per team (total 4 matches) against similar standard local opposition
Activities
- SUP and Surf lesson at the beach
- Mestalla football stadium tour
- Allocated time to visit the city (accompanied by VST guide)

While this particular tour was with two teams (Under 16s and Under 14s, two matches per team), this could equally be mirrored for just one, or three or more teams. However, scheduling and logistics would change from above with the matches versus local opposition potentially taking place at different times and location. However the majority of the tour would remain the same. Should you have larger groups we would arrange a meeting during the enquiry stage to explain clearly what your potential schedule could look like.
Whether the above tour looks perfect for you, or you have other thoughts, requirements or questions, do not hesitate to contact us and we can discuss all elements of a potential tour with you, along with quotes of course.
